Devotional Text For Reflection: Psalm 8:1-9
(NOTE: THIS PASSAGE IS TO HELP US MEDITATE IN THIS TIME OF TROUBLES)
MESSAGE: GOD IS MINDFUL OF YOU!!
For the record, God doesn't need us! He was and survived before the foundation of this terrestrial ball. Then why is He mindful about us? Because we were created in His image and were given dominion over all things! (Gen. 2). This made David marveled at the Lord while he penned down these words;
O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth, Who have set Your glory above the heavens! 2 Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants You have ordained strength, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger. 3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, 4 What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him?
5 For You have made him a little lower than the angels, And You have crowned him with glory and honor. 6 You have made him to have dominion over the works of Your hands; You have put all things under his feet, 7 All sheep and oxen—Even the beasts of the field, 8 The birds of the air, And the fish of the sea That pass through the paths of the seas. 9 O Lord, our Lord, How excellent is Your name in all the earth!
Jesus saw the worries of our minds and told us not to worry. Matt 6:26
26 Look at the birds of the air, for they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not of more value than they? This season too will pass. Stay focus, stay without fear! GOD WILL RISK EVERYTHING TO SAVE YOU!
His Words That Motivate Us from the Text:
3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained, 4 What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him? (NKJV)

“He who lays up treasures on earth spends his life backing away from his treasures. To him, death is loss. He who lays up treasures in heaven looks forward to eternity; he’s moving daily toward his treasures. To him, death is gain.” –Randy Alcorn Vures misse at libero porttitor nisi aliquet vulputate vitae at velit. Aliquam eget arcu magna, vel congue dui. LAUNCH OUT INTO THE DEEP (Luke 5:1-6)
There are times in our lives when we must learn to launch out into deep waters. As we are in a world that has moved onto greater technology and advancements, it was done simply by taking risk and living by the saying “Learn to plan, or plan to fail.” Some churches even though in a new century, have failed to keep up because we’ve fail to Launch out in the deep, and to add ministries that will help our people.
Christ paid the awful penalty for our sin--death. There is nothing left to pay, to do, to join, or to earn. We must only receive Him and trust in what He accomplished for us at Calvary. We are justified "freely by His grace" (Rom. 3:24).
